Ha ha good description CC they sure dont miss much, All wild birds CC We found a field with seven buzzards Fantastic and we went a couple of times. Must make the effort to get out there again see if they have returned for the winter. The long lens is fantastic for getting good pictures but so darned heavy. I want also to go visit the red kites such pretty plumage.

Amazing pictures! Never knew buzzards ate worms but they are stunning birds.
We saw some gannets when we went to Ireland many years ago. I couldn't believe the size of them. The first one I saw was stood on a post a short distance out in the sea and I thought it must be a statue because of it's size, beauty, and stillness. Shocked when it moved!!

My Mum had a friend who came for tea one afternoon and inquired if Mum had a vulture through the door day before. Took her a moment to work out she meant voucher. Mum said she nearly burst out laughing as she had a vision of them grabbing hold of birds legs straightening it out bit like a brolly and stuffing it through beak first

I know I got a decent sized garden CC but not quite that big ha ha. Sorry pictures are not as good sized down. We met up with friends at Lakenheath while we were in Suffolk it was a good day filled with much fun and laughter. Loads of aircraft to keep the menfolk clicking away and picnic in the rain. Then hot dogs, hot drinks in the late afternoon. Best thing about Phoebe she has all the benefits of home comforts on wheels.

Thank you kate and CC. Yes the Lancaster sure is there it is the home of the battle of Britain memorial flight. Lovely tour I am so pleased you saw it. We have friends that we often meet up with there so go quite a bit. Its lovely in the summer as we share a picnic and have all the planes as a lovely distraction through out the day. We get to see the display practises and the BBMF flights.
