    Keeper of the hens

I couldn't figure out a way to add an album, so if your computer runs slow around lots of photos, or you are bored of my pics haha, close this thread now!

Raiden is poorly today (sick last night and runny poops) so as we knew he wouldn't be getting any big walks today, we decided to take Kasper on another big hike - but this one would be even longer!

We were out for about two hours in the end but we walked sooo far and climbed so high on the mountain - I felt like I could reach up and touch clouds!

I'm just gonna post the photos, no text, at least until we get to the crag...more like an album that way
    :)

The crag in the distance is where we're headed!

The farmer had tied the gate shut and Kasper couldn't make the stile...

     photo happyboo7_zpshhcqktep.jpg

...so he had to go under!

    Keeper of the hens

There were plenty of watering holes for farm animals, even up on the mountain (yep, cows roam the entire crag!) so we didn't have to worry about water for Kasper

At the bottom before the big climb...the top of that cliff is about 1/2 way to the very top!

The crag combines all Kasper's favourite environments: forest

Another stile, this one with a dog gap just to the left for Kasper to go under

     photo happyboo21_zpsivxchhay.jpg

And finally there are lots of sections that look like moorland!

The view when you get to the top is incredible, but especially so on a sunny day

     photo happyboo25_zpsd6ojbo9j.jpg

You can see right out to the sea

     photo happyboo26_zps6iplwp6u.jpg

And to the far right there are lots more mountains

     photo happyboo27_zpsrtgjetii.jpg

    Still we climbed higher!

Wow, epic walk! They are lovely pics Red: you really ought to think about making/selling greetings cards with some of your pics on at a craft fair or suchlike.

Yes they are great! I'm keeping a list of all the cats I rehome each Saturday and where possible keep a photo too. However my phone and iPad are struggling for space so I'm emailing them to myself, but I'd like to make a book at the end of the year so don't know if there's a better way of storing them. I tried to copy to the computer but it's playing up and wouldn't let me. Any suggestions?

    Thanks CC!

Truth is I have looked into selling them on user-driven sites like etsy, but I have no idea where to get the photos printed onto the cards - where do you do it, is it expensive? I'd certainly sell them online or possibly at special occasions locally, eg. Christmas fair.

Cheers Kate! If you upload the photos to photobucket you can download / save the image to PC from there...?

    Is photobucket free?
Printing the images could would be expensive and you'd end up only making pennies. The 'big' sellers like moonpig and funkypigeon have cornered the market somewhat. But then they must purchase their pictures from somewhere so perhaps they would buy images from you?

    Keeper of the hens

Yep photobucket is free, I've been using it to post photos on forums since I was 16 and still not used up all the free space they gave me

It would basically be a way to download the pics to your PC that *should* work, but it would also mean you could access them wherever you were...so if you were at a family members' house and wanted to show someone a cat pic, but had forgotten your ipad, you could log in to photobucket and show them from there
    :)

Yeah I guess you're right about the cards. I think you could do it through cafepress without having to print anything (they do all that) but I kind of liked the idea of selling through a site like etsy and writing it all out yourself, choosing the design on the cards, posting them etc.
