    Keeper of the hens

We visited Manor Farm Poultry early on Saturday and were shown around by the wonderful Lynda who is obviously hugely passionate about all her animals and clearly chicken-mad!

There were so many exciting and wonderful breeds that I'd never even heard of before, we went looking for just one chicken but came away with three! Lynda almost forced us to have a Thuringian as they make such good pet chickens :)

The location is really beautiful, set in picturesque countryside - couple that with very reasonable prices, super-helpful and knowledgeable owners, and really gorgeous hens too! What's not to like?!

A big thank you for your help with our new hens. :)

It looks a brilliant place - although I'm sure some of those chicken breeds are made up! :rolling: I wish it was closer to here...
