I need to say hello again.
I am ollie aka oli. Known as Lady Olga to my mates.
I got locked out again, :shamed: then managed to get back with my old name!

I have my marker on the "Google Map Directory" at the top of here.
You will see I am not far from the hen coop.
Switch onto satellite mode to see the real details.
I love Google Earth so much.... See YOU there....

Diane's a psycho....therapist. Her husband is so scared of her, he hides under the bed and coughs up furballs. Some people go to work on an egg, Diane goes to work on a boat; she's so dangerous she has to live on an island with her dog, and Martin, her husband. She has no chickens but spends hours watching some, thousands of miles away.
    Like that, you mean?

I'm an oldie, but for the new hen cam watchers. I am Janice from Mississippi in the USA. You will meet some of the nicest people here and get to see and love Milly, Tilly, and Penny the hens and many other adorable pets. We started out as watchers, then became friends , and now we are more like a big extended family .

Hey! I am NEW! No chickens to report, but I'm getting some ferrets soon, and I have a border terrorist called Spike! I love this site! :whorship: I wanna set up a ferret cam, but I don't think it would be quite so popular. Never know though.

Hello I'm Kate! Before I start, that was a great description of Diane CC, but not particularly accurate!

Diane's on Whidbey Island in the U S of A, and has 2 cats Martin (who we consider to be her 'husband'), and Maya. Also Holly the dog. She takes walks and video of herself driving dangerously!

Chief Chicken is a piano tuner by trade and drives around in a smart car that thinks its a piano! She melts CDs, can't cook, and is married to the long-suffering Eric. She's got chickens, rabbits and a cat (is that it CC?)

Now, before she can besmirch my character, I'm in the UK, have 3 cats, a hubby, 2 sons, a 7wk old granddaughter (the first hencam baby!) and was the creator of The Blanket.

Where are you from Avantiheithcliff? (Avanti for short or do you prefer something else?!)

Thank you CC & Kate! I needed a good loud laugh for the day.

I do have to add, of course, that:

CC has hair that is an entity in itself, drapes herself in purple, names her animals after veg, and lives in the middle of a school yard (with the long suffering Eric.)

Kate analyzes words and numbers, instead of people; is mad about hockey, has a girl cat with a boy name, and was, indeed, the creator of The Blanket.

Lynn lives on a farm with every animal imaginable (and more hatching as we speak), is never on-line without Chelsea-Hencam's most avid feline fan, is tiny like an elf but strong like a horse, and hails from Washington State like I do.

We all thought Ollie was a boy for the longest time. But she's not, and she's helped birth more babies than you can shake a stick at.

Wazza really IS an Officer of The Law, we aren't kidding; has the largest collection of hen figurines of anyone here, drops in periodically for what we all tell CC are "social" visits (shhh), and has a loving wife named Shobhna.

Janice has two darling grand daughters-Opal & Lizzie, a husband and son who are milkmen, and many a colorful tale to tell.

Gloria lives in a sunbathed landscape, is a long-time hen watcher and one of the Chicks Aunties, and - for some reason - has to describe the marvelous things she's cooking while on line. Which means I'm always having to leave and go eat after reading her posts...

Luke and Mia are students - but on completely different continents.

And Joanne is the creator of ... well, we'll leave talk of that thread for another day.

Then we have Hencam HQ - where Red, Neil & Helen reside with Milly, Tilly, & Penny (and many many other critters.) Its Red's kneecaps you will often see - Milly ensconced on her lap for a cuddle. And either her or Neil are the lovely faces looking into the cam at you at the begining of any Cam Ride, when the cam is moved from downstairs to the upstairs dormitory for the night. Helen you will almost never see, as she is allergic to animals. Imagine. But, occasionally she will write a note to us when Neil and she are off on a adventurous holiday.

I had planned awhile back to post about each member and tell them why they mean so much to me. I promise to do that when I can ever get caught up from all the wrecks and appointments.

16 is the number my son plays ice hockey in (he has it tattoo'd on his arm too), and is also the number his dad (Pete!) used to play in. (And no, I've never visited Aus before anyone gets any ideas!!!!) 16000 is an odd number for a 'favourite', but each to our own I suppose! When I first saw the user name though I thought perhaps hubby had registered!

    for example...
"Peter how many people went to the poultry show?"
"It was packed! must have been like 16 thousand people their or something !"

    or
"how many detentions did you get this term at school?"
    "umm i dont know about 16 thousand:shamed::neutral::tongue:"

    Good evening,
I really enjoyed this webcam last year when the chicks arrived but the new camera meant that I couldn't see them anymore. Now is absolutely brilliant. I love to see the hens rooting about and sleeping it is very relaxing. Keep up the good work.
    Bye for now ,
    Pam

Welcome back Russell - are you in the UK? If so I'm not surprised you haven't had eggs, the weather has been diabolical!

Welcome Pam, anytime you want to hang around and have a chat feel free! Where are you - have you got any hens? I love to watch the hens too - used to be able to at work but am overlooked now so have to wait til I get home!

    wazza points out to Janice that spelling is important.... S H O B H N A

we were considering buying a personalised number plate this month SH08 HNA it was for sale at DVLA but £4,000 it was outside of my budget.. It would have been rather cool though

We have to have 2 letters, then 2 digits (08 at the mo, 58 in a few months) then 3 letters. Hence PN 02 NER, see.

I had to read it a couple of times to get it CC, but that's very good! Is Shobhna a popular name then? It seems a lot of money if it isn't.

yes, I had registered a while ago but after a whole day spend looking after the Company's servers and the 250+ users, I normally get a phobia aobut computer when I get home and will not look at anything with the square screen and that includes the telly.

Since I'm home at the moment and have the time, I'm beginning to catch up with a lot of things.

Ladies, if Wazza does not behave then just let me know.
I am the 'Keeper of the Harem'

I don't think Wazza is trainable but I can take privilages away !!!

Chris - you are a social worker? That's very cool. I worked in various aspects of the nonprofit world for decades and now work as a psychotherapist. Hen Cam is a great respite - isn't it? I totally understand why you would be getting excited about an egg. LOL

I only have five minutes this morning - but I wanted to say: HELLO KATE !!! :D :D
