Yes, Caitlyn knows that if she turns the DVD player on the TV goes off. And she can make the intercom thingy on our house phones call all the other bases. We didn't know it could do that!

    Keeper of the hens

So glad CC and Lynn made it back in time for Christmas - it would have been a duller one for us all with people missing...

I have been working on the flashing/snow issues (see, I don't ignore anyone), and I have the following compromise - there should be a 'stop snowing' link now on the page, if you click that, the snow stops so if it's interfering with the cam image, you should be ok now. It also remembers your choice so you don't need to keep clicking when you visit another page.

If you feel festive you can turn the snow back on by clicking it again :-)

Let me know if this works, hope it helps, and sorry for the delay!

Sorry you had to chase me at least we have had some excersise Ha ha. We did pop out to Asda yesterday just to top up with fruit and veg. There was hardly anyone in there and they had reduced some of the meat. I got a lovely joint of pork half price it had been nine pounds bar a penny. I got it in oven for tonight there will be plenty over for the lads snap tomorrow. As you say I am more than happy to stay home in this. I can always find myself something to occupy my time

I'v only been the 8oyards walk to daughter's house, and one social trip where I was taken out and back.
I went up to school, 2 miles, on Monday but the car park we use was so slippy with ice that I won't be going again.

Jays just got in it took him fifteen minutes longer than normal so that wasn't bad. He said it isn't too bad out and is aprox -2 according to the car.

It's not worth slipping over Ollie. The car park in Asda had not been cleared so it was reasonable to walk on. Our neighbour had shovelled his front path and I noticed it was icy as heck when I went accross to Peggy.

I think there are a few threads on henpecking/bullying, PP; if you use the 'search' facility at the top of the page of the forum, you might find something. If not, Neil & Red are very knowledgeable, as are a lot of the forum members.
They're very pretty girls, aren't they? I like the idea of blue eggs!

Hi PP and welcome to hencam! Your girls are lovely and those eggs are so pretty! I remember dying white eggs at school one Easter and decorating them. Now for a really stupid question (from someone who doesn't own chickens!) do coloured eggs taste the same as brown ones???

I bought a box of eggs that were all different colours. Don't think my taste buds are good enough now-a-days to detect subtle differences.
Chicken owners here will tell us more.

she says she is feeling a bit better and that it is now sore/dull ache, she goes tot he docs on Friday so will see what he says. Thanks for asking. She had a book on her Christmas list about a horse and a dog called "Monty and Tyler take the top road". They both belonged to a female solidier who was killed in Afganistan I think. She had always said to her dad that she would like to write a book about them so he has done it as part of his greiving process, well its now available for help the heroes. It came back into stock on HTH website the other day so I've ordered it for her so it shodul be delivered in the next couple of days so hopefully that will cheer her up a bit. (sorry that ended a longer explanation thatn I thought.)

Ollie hasn't been here for several days now..I hope she is alright..I'm getting worried about her. I hope her daughter is getting better too. Maybe she is busy helping her, is why she hasn't been here.

All's well. It's my pooters that are poorly. My laptop has died completely and I have no internet connection.
Thanks for your concerns. Daughter has damaged coccyx, painfull but not too serious, she is still getting to work etc.,
I am using daughter's laptop at her home, I've only just worked out how to get into it. I just couldn't find that button with "ON".
Be back when I get my new machine.
