So, 11 posts in this thread and not one of them mentions a movie!! Did you change the subject after CC and Red had posted?!

I adore cats - my favourite animal.

As for favourite movie, I get a bit fed up watching something I've seen before. However, 'oldies' like Wizard of Oz, Singing in the Rain, Mary Poppins, 7 brides for 7 brothers (love musicals!) are great "Sunday afternoon" films - they remind me of my childhood when we sat down with a box of maltesers or a packet of minstrels to watch the film at 3pm.

The first film I remember was the one where Judy Garland sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".
In my kitchen one of the cupboards plays this when you open the door! The door doesn't shut properly and the light activated device would play at each burst of sunshine, a little sunny surprise.
I have asked for it at my funeral, the newer version by... can't remember her name but it is popular at funerals!

Today, I have set my tv to watch the "Swiss Railway Journeys" all back to back.
I have no knowledge of one train from another but they do hold a fascination for me, especially steam. I love to travel in them, must have reserved seat though.
In between the train progs I have my latest fascination, "Sky Travel's World" the weather watch. Just before most hours it has three minutes of live streaming cams from all places in the world. I am particularly impressed by Niagara.

Wizard of Oz is great - I love musicals! Think Caitlyn might be a fan too - she was watching Lazy Town today (kids programme), and also enjoyed Spongebob dancing with jellyfish to what was very much like the pop song "No Limits". I was singing it to her afterwards and she loved it - just the annoying 'noise' bit.

I thought it was quite cool, the biscuit things, because normally it's just gingerbreadMEN, so i was quite pleased with the lemondrop ladies...and they smelled nicer than the gentlemen anyway

Vicki - steal a biscuit from the bottom of the pack, then cut out a circle of cardboard and put it in the biccie's place. Tape / glue the end of the mcvities packet back closed so he won't notice till he gets right to the bottom of the pack. How long is he gonna be working at your house? Long enough to get through a full pack of biccies? :P

My favourite country is the UK, I don't really like going abroad to hot countries. It's just the fact it'll be 100000 degrees all the time, you get stressed, can't find the luggage, forget the sun cream, mosquitos bite you constantly, you loose the towels, you miss the coach because a delayed flight and then you have to go through all of that to get back home.

...But, apart from that, they're okay.

It was raining in my bedroom today because my mum felt like redoing the house up and now were getting new windows and the person who was putting the windows in , put the frames in and left the glass till last but then it started raining and now my rooms very wet. Oh and he put a window in upside down and what is supposed to be a window in the lounge , is really a hole in the wall covered up by a plank of wood !!!

How dumb was that window fitter. Thats their job! Fitting windows, they should be able to do what their job description says! I hope they fix it for you, Very soon! :-)

Ah, the innocence of the young!! Window fitters get paid for being quick, not for doing a good job.

If they got paid for doing a good job, most of them would earn nothing...

My friends son wanted to train as a plumber so that he could "rip people off easily". She saw nothing wrong with that.

Are you talking to me Vicki. If you are then Jethro Tull are a band that was formed in 1968 by Ian Anderson in Blackpool. They are doing their 40th anniversery tour this year and i am going to see them. They are a folk rock band! :)
