Banana bread is delicious, but I never seem to find a good recipe for it. Always better when bought from a gourmet grocery store near by our place. Is it not commonly eaten in England? In America it usually has either no nuts or walnuts or pecans. Usually walnuts. Never heard of it with pine nuts or cashews. That sounds worth trying, but I like the pecans better. My favorite sandwich filling is peanut butter and grape jam/jelly. ;-)
Edited to add~~banana bread is like a tea bread I believe. (Not like sandwich bread.)

Banana bread is baked with mashed bananas in it. It's a wonderful bread to have for breakfast. It is similar to zucchini bread. Normally not a sandwich bread - you can have it with sweet butter on it. Yum!

Favourite pizza topping = this vegan pepperoni (sp?) stuff my dad found, and broccoli.

Tried one of those 'souper' bowls at pizza hut the other day - has anyone tried them? It's literally a bowl made out of pizza base, with tomato soup inside - so you can eat the soup and then the bowl :D

the story behind dragon fruit is that it is the egg of a dragon and if you eat dragon fruit you will gain the strength of a dragon. They are also high in antioxidants. I like dragonfruit too, but they are way to expensive. Watermelon is very lovely and so are starfruit.

Noooo Ace, Oblivion doesn't chuck you upside-down, that's the vertical drop rollercoaster. By far the best one there for thrill, but the queues just too long. We went to Alton Towers in September, i think, and there were no queues for anything because all the peeps were at work / school. It was fantastic

I read that too, nancy - you know it's a cool fruit when it even has it's own legend involving a dragon

I know oblivian is the one that is the vertical drop. It is the one where u get to the top and it says 'don't look down' and then it drops u down and u go through a tunnel bit at the end.:)

Ace, they stopped it saying that...we went in September and it didn't say it :(

I thought it was a temporary blip, but when i went last week it didn't say it either...this means that i have to resort to saying it when we're at the top, i have time to yell "Don't. Look. Down!" before plummeting to my near-death! :P

    Hate that evil duck, Vicki

Dragon fruit tastes like nothing. Most people eat it with sugar to have some favor. Its texture is like that of a kiwi so it will feel like you are eating a white black seeded no taste kiwi.

Well, the fresh ones probably taste very nice, the one I bought was imported from China and was probably left on the shelf for 3 months with whatever chemicals sprayed on it.
