I always thought humidity was something to do with moisture / water. But maybe that's from hatching chicken eggs...I have no idea

Humidity is the water content in the air. If it's humid there's a lot of water in the air and it's hard to breathe and just moving makes you get sweaty and it's too horrible for words and you seriously consider getting a job in Marks & Sopencer because they have deliciously cold air conditioning. On reflection, perhaps this should've gone in the 'Rant' section...

When I was first training to be a midwife we were taken on a half day to an M & S shop, all round the "Behind the scenes" parts and shown how it all worked. It was very well organised. M & S were hoping that any of us dropping out of our course may remember this trip and turn up at their door looking for a job.
Whenever we got despondant and things weren't going right we threatened to go to M & S.

I love Marks Expensive...they let me stand in front of the chiller cabinets and just absorb all the cold. I bet the Wycombe Marsh branch has a higher leccy bill than the others...
Yes, it is far harder to breathe in humid weather. It's like someone throwing a hot, wet flannel over your head to breathe through... :(

No Donnington's really bad now. When we first started going (over 20 years ago) it was great, but there are so many fences and hospitality tents (in all the best places) and no-go areas I don't like it much at all now. Hubby, sons and one of their friends is going on Friday. I get to have Caitlyn for the day so that her mom and her friend can go shopping!!

Tom and Jerry was changed because the politically correct lot didn't think that the violence in them should be viewed by small children. It was thought that it would cause them to commit acts of violence against animals and each other. I was brought up on T&J and here I am with 2 cats and 2 rats. Should I be pitting them against each other, giving them BIG weapons and knives and matches? Stupid PC brigade.

Originals can never be beaten. The 39 steps has been done a few times and they're all the same script, just different actors I think! I quite liked the Italian Job re-make - they didn't do a straight copy so it wasn't like a re-make at all.

    Nope - I'm just Kate!

(Actually, the name on my birth certificate is nothing like Kate, but only my mom, brother, and hubby know what it is and I'm not tellin! I changed it a few years ago when I wanted a passport. Its very old fashioned and even if you guess it I won't say so don't ask!!!!!)

popcap.com - that's where typershark is and others like zuma and bejewelled. I'd forgotten about that one!!

PIANO!!!! of course... Close second are the recorder and oboe (played WELL).
Third; harpsichord (gets on my nerves after a bit) and fourth is the church organ.

The flute, but only if Ian Anderson is playing it. (If anyone doesn't know who that is, he is the frontman of JETHRO TULL!) ;)
