CC - that IS an interesting similarity. Not proof of anything necessarily. But interesting... I guess the question would be: Is English a stagnant or evolving language? :)

Uh oh. The Rams have me all to themselves then. Say, CC - I take back the thing I just said. The Queen's English is a beautiful, fully formed language which should not be abused by upstarts.

Oh that's right Ollie. I forgot about that. I like that too - how much Vicki has come out of her *shell* on Hencam (nice one, Ollie.) :) This is probably the only place where I have extended conversations with folks who are under 20 years old. I do have friends (off-line) in that age bracket but we lead really different lives so its mostly just: *Oh HI!* and a hug as we pass on the street...

    Are those chocolate then, CC?

    I like Starbars.

I went into Thorntons today and you can buy a 'shot of chocolate'. Its a small shot-glass that they fill with melted chocolate. £1.50!!!!! You can buy various things to dip in, such as marshmallow or strawberry, but Rachael just had a glass of runny chocolate.

Flip and I went to thorntons in Keighley the other day for a treat whilst shopping. We showed great restraint as we each picked just ONE chocolate. I went for the lemon mousse and Flip had the cappuccino. We both wanted more but that would make the first one not special. Strange but true. We will have another next time. Chocolate..mmmmmmm

I think you have it about right. Here's the math:

CC's hypothetical vacation from Hen Cam - 6 day limit. (Rising line on graph)
Vicki's initial energy on return - Maximum impact Day 1.
Vicki's decreasing Vanillicon impact - (Falling line on graph)

Point at which the two lines converge? That's the best day to return!

(Of course, Vicki's response to the Vanillacons is based on anecdotal information on the impact the rest of us have had - so, some margin for error there.)

I remember Neil saying he was limiting the choice so that we wouldn't do what most of you have spent the past week doing!!! LOL!!! He's going soft in his old age - perhaps it was the Florida sun that did it.

LOL - my sun was for Neil.

The new vanillacons load like pictures so it takes awhile on dial up. And bounces the forum screen up & down. I know CC - *get broadbean* ...

Didn't have to. ;) At this point I hear it in my head.

Speaking of that (heads) I read a thing in a British news article where someone said that they had their work *head* on. Is that what you say when someone is representing one aspect of their lives? We say *hat* here.

Yes...I think it's a hangover from a splendid kids' series called Worzel Gummidge, about a scarecrow with a selection of heads for each purpose. Eric often says 'I haven't got me thinking head on' when he's forgotten what he's supposed to be doing!

    Keeper of the hens

I don't like peas...I think of it as more of a 'foresty' colour...like in spring when you walk through the woods and all the bright new leaves are coming out. Think of leaves, not peas ;)
