They are proper wee stars no matter what they turn out to be. Having said that and due to having too much time on my hands , they could unzip their feather coats when bigger and 5 super chicks could step out! Oops Scottish sense of humour breaking out LOL.

Sheesh, you move the cam because the chicks are constantly hiding under it, and what do you get? They start hiding underneath the new cam instead! Clever chickies :D

My dad's poorly with a migraine, he's huddled on the couch in the other room. I am on tea duty, and i'm cooking up a master piece!! I usually only cook for myself 'cos my parents don't get back till late, so who knows what this'll taste like :o

Me and my friends were once staying at a youth hostel, and we bought a HUGE tub of b&j's icecream but when we got back we realised there wasn't a freezer, just a fridge...we sat there for hours just eating this melting b&j's ice-cream, stuffing as much down as we could, then we made the rest into milkshakes with different types of chocolates added. Felt so sick afterwards :D

Bloomin' 'eck - loads of messages, most of them about chocolate and ice cream!! I had a quick peek at the cam from work this morning and couldn't believe it was in colour - thought it must be that I had a good screen at work and a rubbish one at home! Its great though - hope you feel better soon Neil.

Yes Ace, Joey was named after Mr Dunlop. Emmett is named after Sean and Jason Emmett, brothers who rode in BSB (well, one of them did anyway), and Frankie is after Pierre Fracesco Chili - my favourite racer who retired last year.

Thanks Ace - it was a simple way of getting hubby to let me have them in the first place!!! :D My eldest cat had a litter of kittens that didn't survive past their first week, but we named them Whitham (Jamie), Doohan (Michael) and Gardener (Wayne), all top racers at the time.

The chicks are all asleep in one big pile - apart from the one balancing precariously above them on the edge of the pool!!!

We got the chicks another water container today...a glass one that should be harder for them to knock over. I was worried they'd refuse to drink out of it until they got their other one back, but Midget has taken a few tentative sips already, so i'm hoping the others will catch on...

Thank you for all the get well wishes, I'll pass them on to my dad...he worked from home today because his head was still hurting and he still felt a bit sick, but he seems much better now :)

    Red

I was thinking about your dad's migraine and wonder if magnet therapy may help him, here is the website www.emagnetsuk.com and just click the left link magnet therapy. I have spondylosis in my neck and it also gives me the most terrific head pain which can last for up to a week so I got a pack of two of the 3,500 gauss magnets and I use micropore tape and although it can look silly I tape on to my fore head and it does help the blood flow to ease the pain. I have used them for other athritis pain I have in my joints. The magnets are very reasonable at £4.99 for two plus small p+p, I ordered one morning and they arrived the next. Because this is a company which makes all sorts of magnets and not just ones for therapy you get a stronger magnet at a cheaper price than one solely making ones for therapy. I have had mine for over 6 months and recently arthritis in my hand has been quite painful so I taped one on and it helped where painkillers and pain gel didn't and to be medication free is a bonus. I am not saying it will work for everyone but at the cost I think it was worth a try.
    Best wishes

    Mary

I wish! I'm really sick with school at the moment...i need another holiday and we only just went back :D All the teachers are cranky because offstead (sp?) are in, too.

When do you go back to school, Ace - you're on holiday now, right?

I suspect someone here is pulling a fast one.
Though I myself would prefer to be here with Hencam than sitting at a desk in school.

AS exams, yack. Good luck though, they will be fine

One of our teachers asked for volunteers to talk to the offstead people...nobody would, but she didn't think to offer us free food :D

I think its OFSTED. A day off school would be great for you, but shouting hughie and rolf into the big white telephone is no fun at all! However, if you have diarrhoea and vomiting you should not go back to work/school until you've been free of symptoms (that is no more sick or poo!) for 48hrs. Problem is its very hard for most people to do that as their employers are not understanding. My boss, however, would make me do that, her being a senior infection control nurse!

Hee hee!! The chicks keep running up and peering into the lens of the camera, just like their big cousins out in the garden used to!

The chicks are up eating breakfast and talking a lot about it. They keep jumping up and bumping the cam and making it jump around too. They found a new thing to keep them busy.

Hey Lynn, the big girls are okay. Yesterday a guy with a big chainsaw came over to cut the fir trees in the garden, and the big girls HATED that! There was lots of danger calling and shrieking until both he had gone... :P

They must have been scared to death, the poor girls. Don mowed the lawn here today and all my critters went nuts, they hate the sound of the mower.

The big girls don't mind the lawn mower because they know what they get afterwards: TONS OF GRASS CLIPPINGS :D :rolling:

I have to put the screen on full view for Chelsea for a few minutes, so she can watch the chicks before she has to go to bed. (spoiled rotten cat!)
