Its a BBC production about a group of three men who are ex-cops, for various reasons, and their female boss. They have been hired as part of a special non-police unit of the police department to solve unsolved cases. As CC said, it rises above the usual stereotypes and its really hilarious and even intelligent. CC, are the actors famous over there?

    Keeper of the hens

Seeing as this thread is about corrie i am putting it (briefly) back on topic to say there was just a car crash in tonight's episode. Audrey crashed the car in the woods and it was so pathetic it was funny :D
    Anyone else see it?

I'm trying to record it for my mum but it isn't working, so watching it instead so i can tell her what she missed!

Oh no CC! It was really funny, they were driving for ages through the trees with Audrey covering her eyes and squealing to herself, and nobody thought to pull the brakes...then the car finally stopped (they didn't even look like they'd crashed!) i mean wow, what a dramatic ending!

If Eric wasn't so keen on TV (Police Camera Yawn...:\) I'd do away with it and listen to the wireless all the time...except that my friend who did that is now hounded by the licensing idiots who refuse to believe anyone can live without a telly.

There was something on GMTV recently about the licences. Its because someone can walk into your cafe and hear it. If it was just you you wouldn't need one. Those poor down at heel artists need their pennies from you otherwise they won't be able to afford their designer clothes / big houses / drugs.

When we moved in here in April we were hounded about our TV licence. Eventually a man arrived on our doorstep in late December. We showed him the valid licence, he telephoned the office, apologised and assured us they wouldn't bother us again. We then had another letter in Jan, Mar, and May. I had phoned in March and been assured it was sorted, so phoned again in May, got very irate with poor man on the other end of the phone who promised it was now sorted. It was because they didn't recognise our postcode, but that was our fault not theirs of course. Haven't had any more letters so fingers crossed ... !

Neil yes indeed a very young lady.... I was joking when I asked if anyone thought she was a babe LOL In real life I think she would have been well and truely sorted out by the other young ladies and put in her place.

The blue background on the writing made me think it was a whisper...
Not knowing who these folks are, I asumed (When will I learnt NOT to asume?) it was part of a private conversation.
    Sorry folks! :winkkiss:

Ollie, the code for putting something in a quote is:

    <blockquote>PASTE IN THE QUOTE HERE</blockquote>

When you have the *Html* button pushed (below), it puts the pasted in wording in a blue block. "Or you could just type it like this" lol
