It's about this freaky kid who builds a death trap 'factory,' and he catches wasps and puts them inside. They fly about and end up dying in one of the different chambers, they either burn, drown, get squashed etc etc.

We read an extract in English Lit and it was really weird, just wondered if anybody had read it all :)

Regard the gender of the people in this forum.
    I am female.
I use Ollie as a non sex name as I find I get different responces when my gender is unknown.
One, almost totaly male occupied place, that I used to post on never knew. I saw their attitude to a woman who came on was, less than subtly, different.

Lots of rain here today in Yorkshire UK.
The water springs in my village are spouting all over!
I used to live on the ridge on the highest part of the village, 552 feet, its less than 100 feet in the valleys.
The cellar of my house would flood to the top step, clear as a bell too.

At school today during lunch time , because it had been raining so much lately , there was a huge ankle deep puddle in the corner of the playground so my friend decided to dig up a worm , put it in a pie case and set jimbob on his maiden voyage to the other side of lake elton but suddenly a huge gust of wind came and jimbob was capsized , shipwrecked and was drowning , we rescued him and my friend gave him mouth to mouth resuscitation (well pretended to) just as the head teacher came round the corner and he looked rather surprised seeing my friend knelt down on the floor with a worm , she was kind of embarrased but jimbob started to breathe !! Yay jimbob lives and we put him back where he was found so no harm done , I hope not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Keeper of the hens

Mice have a high heart rate. Have you seen how quickly they breathe? Scares me to watch them!

Vicki, your story reminds me of Earthworm Jim...because he went on mad adventures and was a worm too, obviously :)

Saturday night again, every on else is out on the razzle, or watching silly films on TV.
Here I am with my tumbler of sherry (well it is a church one, not very big) drowning my sorrows, yet again...

Just where do you all get to?

I was babysitting - we went to Mallory Park all day, then had Caitlyn when we got back. My son bought a travel cot so that she could stay overnight while he and Rach went to her sister's wedding. It was lovely having here, but being woken at 4am doesn't get any easier when you're older!

He goes in the bath for hours; he's judged the point at which human flesh may dissolve to a very accurate point.
