I was accused of that in Milton Keynes once! We had gone for an ice hockey tournament and were staying near a little chef roadside restaurant (think I've told this before but I'll carry on anyway). I said I could smell burning and hubby and our friends said I was imagining it. We went again the next night and I said I could still smell it but again was told it was my imagination. When we left the following day a friend went past it to get home and phoned us to say it had burnt to the ground! Everyone said I must've done it as I was the only one who could 'smell' the smoke!

Er, yes there was another one after that, but it was in Holland and I'd left there weeks before!!!!

I haven't heard of any injuries but don't know for sure. I think the fire brigade got there pretty quick and it was already under control by then anyway.

Turns out my friend's friend lives in Normanton, so I will have to make time for a chicken visit. All the details and dates are yet to be worked out, but I do know this for sure...
I land in London (from Shanghai) on the 28 Dec.
And I fly home from London on the 15 Jan.
Between those dates I will also be going to Europe, probably starting at Paris, Italy, and heading North.. before coming back into the UK, traveling South toward London...

    I think... ha ha

Your geography will be much improved after this world tour, trev. Do keep a diary it really is worth the effort, especially as you are going to so very many places. In years to come you will enjoy reading through.
I have kept journals like this for a lot of my trips, one I would make entries many times a day, even writing down those quips folks would make that are otherwise lost.
Looking forward to having you in the UK. I live relatively near to hencam.

Well here I am at last it's Trevs Mum all the way from OZ, after being a mystery guest for so long and watching all the comings and goings of the eggs, hens and hatchlings I can't resist joining in. Hullo to all you friendly folk. I grew up surrounded by chicklets and ducklings and love Hencam. I also love rats, mice, birds and I am a mad cat lover but our Burmese, Thomas lives inside with a large cat run for wandering and sun baking in and loves a walk on a lead and harness in the garden. He can watch the birds but not eat them!
I am delighted Trevor will visit your part of the world and hope he can visit hencam world and take some photos.

About 10 years ago I spent a day with a colleague on another site and said "do you want to see a photo of my babies?" "ooo yes!" she said. I pulled out a load of cat photos. She wasn't amused! I bumped into her last month - she's now retired - and told her friend she was with about that day. So I made up for it and showed her a photo of my granddaughter! (she never did get to see a photo of my boys!)

Can't get rid of the 23 year old. 21 year old moved out 4 months ago with his girlfriend and sprog and we see more of them now then when they lived here!!!! (They were always shut in his bedroom).
