    Keeper of the hens

Morning (afternoon? no idea of time at the moment!)

We just literally set foot in the house from Glastonbury - very tiring and sometimes stressful but fun all the same - we've slept 1½ hours since Sunday so am feeling a bit frazzled, we tried to beat the Monday morning rush out of the car park (it can take up to 8 hours to exit!), and got stuck in the smaller 1am traffic jam... Only took about half an hour but not what you want when you're knackered and have a 5 hour drive ahead of you!

I'll post more on Glastonbury in a bit (after some sleep!) and some probably really poor blurry pictures of the tops of people's heads too, sorry for boring you in advance!

Scarlet is away for 2 weeks now on holiday with her mates in Spain (how will we cope without her?! I'm already fed up 'cos I'm having to look after Midget and do what Scarlet's been doing for some weeks now - argh!) Seems weird coming back to an empty house and we won't have seen her for nearly 3 weeks...

Post more later, off to bed.

    Night! :)

    Neil
About 30 years ago I travelled from Port Glasgow to Knebworth Park to see Pink Floyd, it was a fantastic show with lots of special effects, we spent the night in our tent and hardly got any sleep as there were lots of deer roaming the park and it made for real spooky noises, then next morning there were loads of police there to escort us to Stevenage rail station I don't know what sort of trouble they were expecting because it never happened and was the most peaceful event I'd ever been it.
I had to travel back to London to get the coach back to Scotland when I eventually got home my mum told me I looked as though I'd been pulled through a hedge backwards, I just flopped onto my bed and went sound asleep. Oh the hippy days!

Yes we have hedges, but no - we don't have that one. The only one I recall at the moment is: *You look like something the cat dragged in.*

Oh I love camping, but only if you have all the gear (ie: big enough tent to "lounge" around in, chairs, etc etc!), but we went to Glasto with a very minimal setup, the tent didn't have enough room for 1 person to sit in, so it was a bit much after 5 days of living like that!

You could always go for one of the teepee's on-site - they're really nice and roomy but a bit expensive!

Can't you just sleep in your car if you run out of space in your tent? Or better yet, leave your stuff in the car and sleep in the tent?

They're usually pretty far away from each other though. I think my parents did leave a lot of stuff in the car.
