We've just had the biggest hail storm ever - it looked like it had snowed :o

We all ran out in it, which was actually quite painful! I think i have been blinded, one went in my eye...then it started raining and the snow-mush disappeared :( I can't believe we have had a snow-like substance, how exciting

My cat likes to lick the shiny tape that they put on boxes across the bottom and top join to keep them closed. And the visor of hubby's helmet. He complained one day that his vision was limited because of cat spit!!!!!!!

Today is just a little showery but the temp has gone right down. Frost forecast for weekend so get your Dad to shake out those thermals for visiting the chicks.

Proper lectures start for you next week.
My tip - take your notes using writing you can read later. Saves you having to write them up all the time, which is a great time waster but also a great way of consolidating information.
So you get it iether way, just depends on how your brain recalls stuff.

    Frost! Is it windy?

I'm going to try and write the notes properly so that i don't have to write them up again (although that would be a good way to 'absorb' the info) but it also depends on how fast the Lecturers talk!!

So far we had one guy who spoke sooooo slooooowly, and always raised his voice at the end of a sentence (very annoying) and then we had another who spoke so quickly everyone was just sat with their mouths hanging open staring at her!

    Lap top.

Martin likes to chew plastic and ribbon like its chewing gum. I have to be really careful that he doesn't have access to any. And, if anyone walks in the house with a ribbon in view. Disaster. His eyes narrow and he becomes a little black rocket whose sole purpose for being is to score that ribbon.

Red, you can now get a pen that 'remembers' your pen strokes and you plug it into your pooter and it saves your handwritten notes. I think it's called a Z pen, about a ton. Perhaps Father Christmas might bring it for you if you're a good girl...?

Weather was ok here today - went to Ikea this morning with Rach and baby Caitlyn, then back to ours. (Hubby and Danny went to Darley Moor - more bike racing!) Cooked dinner, then occupied Caitlyn for a couple of hours, she had her dinner then came to me to sleep. Nanny's shoulder is the best to doze off on! She now says "ahh" when you hug her. And she says "ca" when she sees one of my cats. Genius at nearly 9 months!!!

No way! Reb and I went to Ikea for the first time in 10 years (its about 2 hours away, one direction.) I bought lots of lamps, flooring for the new office and (for some reason) several different espresso makers...

    my room 2
    View from my door

    my room 3
    Opposite side of room

    my room 5
Hahaha, excuse the person on my bed :D

    my room 6
Posters and piccies above my bed

    my room 1
    Bookcase...

    my door!
Outside of my door so everyone can tell which room i am in

    Pursuits!
And Pursuits, the dog my nana got me :)

You'll have to excuse the poor quality pics, my camera is about five years old and no longer works properly (was my dad's before it was mine - the flash has stopped working so taking pics indoors is difficult!) And i can no longer borrow my dad's amazing camera to take photos with...

Quite cosy Red..very nice...perfectly livable..you probably spend most of your time OUTside of your room. Arrgh .. I'm must feed Spock and Hobbes - they are getting INSISTENT (Spock has finally (in the last couple of weeks) moved out from her hallway. She would only stay on the shelf in the hallway - for 6 weeks...wouldn't move out to the rest of the apartment...I was quite worried. But all is good now..she carouses (sp?) with her brother (Hobbes) for sleeping spots. Occasionally they sleep on the couch (chesterfield) together.. :) and not too much fighting!
