I am curious about what is flying around . Are they little moths ? Do we sometimes hear a cow mooing ? Speaking of critters .... one night this summer, there was a huge spider yo-yoing right in front of Milly as she slept. Thankfully, it did not bother her. I thought about " CHARLOTTE'S WEB " when I saw that spider. I wonder if some spiders or maybe all spiders carry their young inside their bodies and then die when their young are born. In the past week , I have found two huge spiders..... dead but full of tiny baby spiders who scattered when I attempted to remove their mother's body. Both looked as if they were carrying over 100 babies.

Oh yuk!! I hate spiders!! I thought they laid eggs that then hatched out? I often find round 'nests' in the corners of the windows outside that are covered in spider webbing (but not a web). I've heard of the females eating the males after mating, but not of them giving birth to live ones.

    Keeper of the hens

There are plenty of moths round here at night, so you could certainly have seen some moths :)

And yep, i wouldn't be surprised if you heard some mooing at night. The field right outside our house often has cows in, so you can probably hear them on the cam every now and again.

You know what I live at the edge of a modern City in the countryside and every morning when i open my windows I hear Moooing, and in my doorway at night the moths do like to play in the light.

I have a spider living in my security camera. At night the light streams through her body when she crosses the lens. She had babies late summer, they all went off on web strings, to find other cameras maybe.
