Yes all over now! YAY! The exam was supposed to start at 9am but stupid school didn't realise that there was a Maths GCSE scheduled at the same time in the same room. Problem was that cos we're media students we have to watch a clip and analyse it which might "distract" the people taking the maths paper! I like how my school is soooo organised! haha. We ended up stating the paper at 10.30am and finishing it at 1pm.

Nice Ace! :rolling: Our last exam was a pile of poo, too...one of the stupid chemistry students who were sitting an exam in the same hall as us thought one of the equations was wrong, and so told the exam guy that it was definitely wrong.

He then had to phone up the exam board THREE TIMES!! and talk really loudly half way through the exam, and because my name ends in a W I was in the last row, the one right by the phone!

Wouldn't have minded so much, but it turns out the equation was right in the end anyway :-\ and the guy on the phone was telling jokes and laughing...a girl threw her pen down and waved her arms in the air in disgust, and she wasn't even anywhere near him :D

Nope - not a thing...being lazy today. Woke up late, fed the cats, went on Facebook for a while, then on to Hencam (I had 5 days worth to catch up on!). I did go to the mall and picked up a coffee and bought a book..which I will read after I finish my current one... or perhaps I'll do both!

nice to have a lazy day now and then does you good. I did my usual house work then watched the grand prix qualifying, then watched some horse racing, it was the Epsom Derby today one of the more important races as the Queen attends !! Well I'm in a book-reading kind of mode (part of the reason I've been missing on my Hencamming!).

It happens every few months...I'll go a few months without reading anything, then a new book comes out in a series I've been reading then I'm reading non-atop for a while.

I will ask Jay if he has read them. He reads a lot more than I do. I used to comute to work it was hour and a half each way so got through loads of books. I used to get them from thrift shops it was cheaper and did a bit of good plus I gave them back when I had read them and just paid a few pence for more.

I watched the Derby too NN. Its very strange because I would usually turn horseracing straight off but for some reason I became hooked - good presentation, interviews, articles, all that sort of thing. Then I realised the date - my wonderful dog, Judy (RIP), was born on 6th June and it was Derby Day (which is also D-Day). Me and that dog adored each other. Also, my nan loved to watch the Derby, it was her favourite.

However, I was reading hencam when it was time for the main race and I decided not to go and watch it. Then I got a text message from my son - my phone was downstairs - and when I got down there they were just loading up the stalls ready to go. I'm sure it was my nan's influence! It was a lovely thing to happen.

I haven't watched the horse racing for years either Kate, I used to love it and have lived in both Newmarket and Epsom. I was doing my ironing when it came on so thought oh that will make a change and be a blast from the past. As you rightly say it was a good presentation with loads of interest.
It is strange how certain things remind you of loved ones in you life. I often think that is when you are being watched over by them and you are feeling the power of their love for you. It is also a comforting thought that Judy and your Nan are together.

Yes, that thought did bring me comfort for the rest of the day NN. When I was growing up my nan had one bedroom, my mom another, and my brother (8 years older than me) the small room so I shared with my nan. We had a big bed (Queen size?) and shared that with the dog, Judy, and 3 cats. One would sleep by my nan's feet (she had a box in the bed, later replaced by a cage, to hold the covers off them), one on her lap and the other on her chest. Judy and I would curl up next to each other. We never needed a hot water bottle that's for sure!

I bet you didnt need the hot water bottle cor I get hot enough with Kimmi by my feet. He is the only cat thet will lie there as I get restless legs and move about a lot. Sootz likes to lay on my chest but only for a fuss each night and then he goes and sleeps on Hubby's side. The other two sleep in all different places each night but do come on the bed when it is freezing cold. I am surprised that the queen sized bed was big enough for you all. Ha ha

Foggy (my cat!) will put herself between me and hubby every night for some attention, then wanders off when I start to doze. She wakes him up every morning (even weekends!!) at 5.20am. Its his own fault, he should turn over and go back to sleep but he gets up so she knows what to do to get food and attention!

Our Thomas loves to sleep with us and takes turns as to whose arm he wants to lie on. He will insist on announcing his arrival when he comes back to bed at 'too early am'. He can purr like a steam engine at times and has a habit of plopping his head on ones cheek and then his whiskers tickle and wake us up.
Will be off line for several days folks, so if Dennis arrives I will get Trev to keep me informed.

My Kimmi cat wakes me up in the night he is so naughty as he digs at the carpet with his claws as hard as he can, if I ignore him he does the bed next. I have got into the habit of just hissing at him now. I sleep badly anyhow so he is used to me getting up during the night but when I get the chance of a full nights sleep it is so annoying,

Do Cold Flame just cover JT numbers or do they do their own material too, Acie?

They do their own material aswell. They only do about 2 Tull songs at each gig. The only time that they just play JT songs is when they are doing their Jethro Tull tribute shows. ;)
