Jonny I have tried kangaroo, it is a strongish flavour, it was cooked quickly in strips and served on a salad, it is becoming quite popular here as its a low fat meat. Some people get upset because we eat the animal that is our national symbol (the emu is the other one which is farmed for feathers and hide and meat)I am not much of a meat eater, just dont enjoy it as much any more and have become animal conscious in recent years.
You can also but croc steaks too.

As for spidies we get those big huntsman inside which can be about 10cm wingspan eerrrr legspan they do give me a scare when I see one usually up near the ceiling. Once my sons found one up high and sucked it up in the vacuum cleaner and tossed it outside before I knew it was there.:wha:

Sara no crocs near me just up north or in zoos but spidies we see quite frequently, emus can be quite excited and chase people but they dont mean to hurt they just usually want food so watch out for your lunch.
We have kangaroos not far from us they also inhabit a local golf course, the only one where kangaroos are a natural hazard! They just sprawl everyhwere in the sun and get in the golfers way and tourists come from everywhere to take pics.

What about mink? I found a site that says they're Australian. I don't know if that's native, or from being released. They're a bit smaller than a cat, but can be black, furry tail, 4 legs, cute. (evil little blighters in reality though!)
