Have you ever bought something that lasted 5mins before it was no good.
Well i bought my son a 8ft swimming pool, From car boot. Brand new in the box with a pump.
    I pump it up.
Went to get the pipe for the water, When i went to fill it. I found my son has popped it, stood on the end of it and popped it. now what am i meant to do.

Cant stick it back together waste of money or what!!

I have been thinking about your pool Sara could you not repair it with a bicyle repair kit they have a patch that you can stick on the inner tube , Sticks like poo to a blanket and not that hard to do

    Keeper of the hens

Aw man, that sucks!! 8 foot too, I bet your son was gutted! :(
    • CommentTimeJun 4th, 2009 10:46pm (Jun 4th 2009)
NN is right - puncture repair kit will do it. If its a big hole then see if you can get a bigger patch from somewhere - they must sell repair kits for that sort of thing!

Thats some hole Sarah might be as well to ask first rather than buy a kit. you could also ask in a garden pond store if they have anything suitable. Just make sure you are not spending more money than it is worth.

"Back to back" is the baby laid facing forward instead of back.
Most of them are like that and then turn round as they come down/out.

My own second baby stayed facing upwards to greet us!

Keep getting Cramp in my right leg, Every night i wake up with it. Hubby hears my cry with pain and thinks the baby's coming. Talk about crying wolf. If it does happen and i'm in bed he would take any notice.

    Cramp in my right leg,
Sorry I didn't respond quickly to this one.
Pack a couple of pillows under the bottom of the mattress at your side. Helps the blood return flow.

The old wive's cure would be to spend a few minutes before getting into bed, rolling the empty bottle with your foot, having drunk the contents first of course.

I was going to add that one last night CC but thought best not. I did have a friend that suffered real bad with cramp in her food. She used to put a pack of frozen peas on it, to ease it. One time she was on holiday and she got the cramp in it so bad and she had no peas so she stuck her foot in the loo and pulled the flush. She said it did the trick!!!!!!!!!
