Sara, hang in there. I know time is a great healer but right now it is how you get thru the next minute and if you focus on looking forward only, then slowly but surely things will start to improve.
You know where I am so please call or text.

Sara, I haven't seen my mom since my wedding (26 years ago). I phoned her to tell her my eldest was born and she put the phone down on me. 5 weeks after I had him my sis-in-law had a son. Each birthday and Christmas my in laws would spend £10 on my kids, but £100 on her son. Kids don't notice these things, and I always kept my mouth shut. My boys love their nan and aunty all the same. It is upsetting, but I feel proud that we survived without their help.

You are a mom and as such will have inner strength. I don't know where it comes from, but survival is a wonderful thing and gives us the motivation to get through most things. Kids don't need 'stuff', just love and understanding. It will be harder for your daughter as she is old enough to see what's happening but not know how to deal with it all. We're all here for you. x
