Yes I do the counted one, not the preprinted. I've got lots in a box that i haven't started yet - I ordered a peacock of ebay a while ago (pattern only) and it came of 52 sheets of A4 paper, I can't begin to get my head around it but perhaps I'll have a go at it now.

My daughter has done quite a lot of cross stitch pics.I have a two in small frames - one is a heart with "Mum" and the other is "Olga's Conservatory".
    I treasure them.

I started one as a cover for a very old chair seat. It has the dates of our marriage. I ought to find it and complete it now I am a widow.

I have several in a box to do as well Tracy. Some of them my Mum bought for me I never got around to doing them, well as yet. The Arran jumper I am making is black yarn so difficult to work with. I must get a day light bulb for my lamp it helps a lot. I have crocheted blankets Kate but never knitted them it sure sounds as if it was a real labour of love.

My mum brought an embroidery to do while dad was away in the war. Fifty-odd years later her friend volunteered to finish it for her...I get my love of sewing from her, evidently...:\

I've just had the local council offering to put free loft insulation in for me - into my house that is.
I refused as I can't face having to move fifty years of treasure up there. That is enough insulation anyway.

I have been trying to get some clear big polybags to pack it in so I can see what's what rather than the black ones I have been using.

Thats a good idea Ollie. We are having our boiler moved into the loft sometime soon so I got to get up there and sort out one side of it. It will give us a lot more room in the bathroom.

She is the lead or boss hen Lee. She was the first to lay and was so kind when the others were just starting to lay she would go into the nest box with them to encourage them. When I first had occasion to nab Lady Jane cos she had a messy bum she shrieked and Auntie Beak made a run for me all puffed out in attack mode. She is a good lead hen so I am very lucky to have her.

The writing is real hard to see I have found that of you click over it as if you are going to copy you can read it easily. If you want good egg layers they are the types to have. They recommended that I didnt have the while ones as they are to flighty for back gardens. They roughly lay 300 eggs a year anyhow it will give you an idea. Oh I forgot to tell you she went broody twice last year.
