Chooks have different personalities, right? Margot has a defiant yet cute attitude and often hops out the run which the others can't do. She stands atop the highest point and looks in through the kitchen window wondering if there's any attention to be had

Then when you approach her, she's not too sure she wants petting after all

and when you throw some corn into the run and she really wants down, she'll resort to any method! She made it down in the end

    Spring is around the corner

Great pictures Goosegog and wonderful plumage!!

She reminds me of someone at work who is also called Margo. She (the human!) is Canadian, very driven but sometimes gets to a point where she needs help from us little people. Bit like your Margot!

Heh heh! They have such apparent personalities they can be likened to human behaviour sometimes. Our girls are named after the acclaimed UK BBC 1970's TV show The Good Life

Tom, Barbara, Gerry (Geraldine, although their goat was called Geraldine we later discovered) and Margo
