    pls help new im a new chicken keeper ive been keepin chickens for just under a yr and 1 of my hens roxy has stoped layin eegs over the few days but wont leave er nestin box. roxyis a indian game x. she normalys lays me a nice egg every day but all of a sudden just stop.

    Have you tried lifting her off Billy and setting her down outside? If you have what does she do?

    Put your hand under her while she's on the nest. Is she resistant or even a little hostile? Does she puff up her feathers and cluck at you? If so, it seems that your hen wants to be a mother. In the absence of a rooster to fertilize her eggs, she might be a little upset.
