Wazza all three cars are sporty. I would quess the blue one might be yours, but something tells me you drive one of the bright yellow cars. I had a yellow car once, a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 . I got for high school graduation that year and traded it in on a family sedan in 1975 after my son was born. Gee how I wish we had just kept the Mustang in addition to the family car. Just recently, someone sold a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 for $40, 000 . I had a stuffed bright purple bear in my car. I went away to the University of Central Arkansas for 4 years and the atheletic teams were the Bears.

I wish the gov't would have a campaign informing people of what national speed limit is. I drive along a road every morning with very clear NSL signs but will people do 60mph? No, somewhere between 35 and 45 is the norm. When they get to the 40 limit at the other end THEN they'll step it up to 50. Biggest cause of my personal road rage!!!

I never do the dodgy overtaking, but I have been known to drive too close when I'm really really annoyed. I do think after a couple of seconds about what a mess I'd be if they stamped on the brakes so back off a bit. I had one that deliberately slowed down and kept stamping on the brakes when he was only doing 35mph - he was in the wrong but it would've still been me that got prosecuted if I'd wrote him off!!

I heard of an idea that I thought was really cool on this topic: We all are given these little toy guns (so you can already tell its an American idea) when we get our licenses. They are loaded with stickers that say: *I'm a stupid driver* and are very sticky - so they won't come off. When someone is driving badly, especially dangerously, you shoot a sticker at their car. After they have 6, they are no longer allowed to drive. :)

Chief - nice historical reference there!

    Hi chief chicken,
Friday is my drinking night too. I call it 'Norwegian Drinking Night', as in Norway you lose your drive licence if you have had any alchohol at all, it was permanent too when I was there some years ago. Weekday drinking could leave some detectable alcho next mornibg and Saturday night is out as its church next morning and you may still have residues. So it all happens on Fridays.

Ginnything happens on a Friday afternoon in our house; Kathleen comes on a Friday to scrape off the top 4 inches of filth - clean the house, I mean. And after she's done she needs a Very Large Gin. So I join her. Just to be sociable, of course...

11 years. Whoa. Have I ever not had a pet? Thinking back--- Maybe during those 3 months in Europe - but even then there was a gecko living in my room...

Martin RACES to the bathroom when he hears my bath draining - its his special time (from among the crowd) to have a few minutes of my attention. He loves loves loves fabrics, so I put a towel down and pet him for a little while. Even when I'm late for something; which is usually.

Hmmmmmmmmmm getting back onto topic ish....

I have heard somewhere that America will be seriously changing the rules of the road, in line with the EEC European community. everyone will now drive on the left as in UK.. so not to cause to much alarm and distress, this will be filtered into the system in parts... Those owning cars with the last numberson the registration plate that is an even number will start first and the following week those with an odd number will begin driving on the left... Will this work do you think?

Wazza we take great pride in driving on the RIGHT side of the road - no way will it ever change :) I remember (perhaps incorrectly...?) that miles were changed to kilometers in Canada during the years I lived there.

Awww - I just like Joey more and more :) What an interesting boy. My kitty Winnie would always sit on the edge of the tub while I bathed. At some point - before the water was soapy, she would always lean over and drink a little. That actually lengthened her life after she got very sick. At one point she stopped drinking as only had a day or so to live. I put a chair next to the tub and at some point she hobbled to the edge and drank again. She lived four months more. Sweet kitty.

Ollie, Kathleen is a Treasure...she works very quickly and efficiently, but the gin ratio is in direct proportion to the amount of filth she shovels. I may take some shares in Gordons'. Or perhaps be tidier. No, the shares, I think... musicians were never meant to be tidy.

Go for the shares CC, its the easier option!

Don't actually have a fire - no "features" put in to new build houses anymore! My hubby and eldest have gone to watch the ice hockey, youngest and his partner are watching tv in his room, but my cat came and sat with me for ages. I had a huge coughing fit and my heart was racing, but within seconds of her jumping on my lap it'd slowed right down. See Wazza, cats CAN be useful!

I'm sure cats prefer cat-haters because they get left alone to do what they like! We had a visit in the garden from a lovely sleek black cat today - not the one that tries to fight with my 3, a 'new' one. It wandered down to the door and my fat cat (Emmett) fluffed herself up to scare it off! She was HHHUUGGGEE!!!! I didn't think she could look any bigger. I laughed so much the black cat ran away and I missed the photo opportunity!!
