Is it outside the greenhouse door or is that some logs piled up? I also spotted what looks like a bird outside the shed?

Now i have a question... in photo number 4.. you can all see the Acer tree in the foreground... I have errected trellis near it now as you can see in other photo's.8 and 9. well this year was very wet... All the leaves fell off the tree in August and it was like winter had set in early.. i have another acer in the garden of the same sort that was just fine... but this one lost all its leaves Why would that be ?

My garden is top to bottom, left to right weeds. We're considering paying someone to come and landscape the garden - my son's ex-girlfriend's dad did our previous garden - it was his 2nd job - but as they split up ages ago he doesn't want us to ask him this time! So I think I'll have to pass on even attempting to answer that question!

wazza it you break a branch is it brown inside? Is there anything else odd about the tree - like sap dripping or anything?

Kate - hey it sounds like you have an opportunity to hire a little goat for a day or two! I've always wanted to do that.

Yahooooooooooo! I can hardly wait. :) Over here there are little companies that rent goats for property cleanup purposes (along with the goatherd - usually a woman it seems) do you have that there? Its kind of a newish thing here.

One of our local churches has a small flock of sheep that are used to keep the graveyard grass down. They section it off and remove all the wreaths first of course. Also they rent them out in any number you need for big or small areas. Just like yours Diane.
My Uncle had goats. One day they ate all the washing off the line, Aunt Hilda was not pleased, especially as this was in the days of clothing coupons and no washing machines.

No, perhaps that could be a business enterprise I could take on! Not that I know anything about goats, and I don't think I could get away with storing them in the garage when they're not in use!!!!

The goats article was great! I can't believe people would go out and shoot them though. :( Wonder if he'd send a couple over to my garden for the $250 transportation fee!!!
