    Keeper of the hens

I had James out last night, and as part of his exercise I decided to measure him (as we hadn't done it for a while)...

I'm pleased to announce, he's a teeny bit off 5 foot! (actually 4.9685 foot long)

It's good to see him reaching fully grown size, hopefully he might make it a bit bigger, but he's starting to thicken out nicely - you can really feel his strength when he is wandering around as he flexes against your arm.

To get an idea of his girth, it's my arm, with a shirt and thick coat over so you can see he's a growing lad!

Cracking photo dad, he looks beautiful and really shows his gorgeous colours! Can't believe how long he is, eeee! Dead chuffed you got him out too, thank you

Corn snake's grow around 4 - 6 feet, so he's already hit the middle ground  He'll continue growing all his life, but to a much lesser extent as he gets older. It'll be two years since I got him in December, so he's probably 2 years old now :face-smile:

Oh my word he is just so beautiful and such a great size. I was showing the picture to Jason as his step son in the states had one. He couldn't believe they grew so big and was real impressed with James.
