    Keeper of the hens

It isn't a Blog post yet but I thought it might as well go in that section.

On the 16th December Bam passed away. He died naturally from old age, and we found him on the night curled up in his bed - coincidentally the pink elephant some of my mice were once born in.

He was a grand old mouse, and my first ever to live to be over a year old, although we hadn't quite had him a year. It came as a big shock because only a week before he passed he was popcorning all over his cage, doing back flips from the floor onto his bridge!!

    RIP little man

The first photo was taken just a few days before:

I'm so sorry Red; but he couldn't have had a better life than the one you gave him - he was one lucky little mouse!

I echo CC's post Red. He was a truly beautiful mouse and seemed to have real character and personality. I am sure you feel honoured to have been his human companion. Play hard at the bridge Bam. xx
