Absolutely, yes, I can confirm that picture does indeed look like me. But I ain't wrinkly and my fluffy slippers are purple and I wish I had legs like twigs, not tree trunks. But the hair is more or less spot on, apart from the bows.
How are the lips after that mistletoe, then, Wazza? Had to send 'em in for a retread yet? Poor Mrs Wazza; hope she forgives us for donating the mistletoe!
Next time Wazza comes round on the earole for a cuppa, perhaps he can bring his camera to take a photo of Sage & Onion...?

Uh oh. I feel like I set Wazza up - yet I had no idea the cartoons could get worse... :( Sorry Neil. It does seem like we should stop going in this direction tho. Doesn't it? Because it wouldn't be good to have things on that we wouldn't want kids to be looking at. I apologize for suggesting it W.

On the other hand. I can't believe you actually have a photo of crocs. And a really nice one! That's wild. Mine are pale yellow. But it sounds like Shobhna and I have similar croc tastes. :)

I haven't got a pair! :( Perhaps I should buy myself some for new year. At the moment we have some "universal trainers" that fit everyone and we plod in and out of the house in. As the 'back door' is in reality the french doors from living room to garden I have to make sure I don't trapse mud back in.

Crocs are made in various places in China.
My first pair was in black so as to be inconspicious (even I wear quite long skirts)
Second pair are maroon 'cos I wear LOTS of red but couldn't handle wearing a bright red pair.
Nurses wear them in white, though there have been worries over dropped syringe neadles going through the holes !!!!
Grand daughter has a white pair.
I found a clear shoepolish with an applicator and it keeps them looking new.

Perhaps I'll go for black for a first pair then, or blue as I spend a lot of time in jeans. Or brown, that's always a good basic. See, now I can't even decide on a colour!!!!

The only prob I have with them is beach walking. Too many little stones get in. Not made for that. I love the choice of how to wear the strap :)

My mom would never let me have slip-on shoes when I was a child as she said I'd try to grip them with my toes to keep them on and give myself hammer toes. I always had to wear sensible (ugly!) shoes when I was growing up, but I've still got bunions, hard skin, all that rubbish. Could've got that AND worn stylish shoes if she'd let me have what I wanted!

Where do mothers get these ideas? LOL My mother wanted me to walk earlier than I wanted to. To me, why walk when crawling got you there? (Think I've maintained that attitude come to think of it.) Anyway, she put me in dresses - which forced me to walk. I've hated dresses ever since.

My eldest had the attitude of "why crawl when I can go straight to walking" and was toddling round at 8 months. He never crawled or bottom shuffled or any of that. My mom (here I go again!) said I had bow legs because I'd walked too soon - more nonsense with no medical basis!

I have wide feet and so always had to wear boys shoes. My Mum was very careful with my feet as she had dreadful toes after spending her teenage in the the fashionable very pointed shoes of those days.
I always looked after my children's feet too. We were so poor though, I turned up at Adult School enrollment night asking for lessons in shoe making. They laughed but I was so desparate.
I still have to shop carefully for shoes, especially as I am a half size which the cheap shoes don't do.

My mom had awful feet because her birth mom used to make her stand on her toes like a ballerina or so my nan (unofficial adoptive mom) used to tell me.

Ollie I'm sorry they laughed at you. That's terrible. :(

I have a thing with my right foot that is a problem created in childhood. So maybe these worries from mothers have some validity. (I broke my toe running away from a spider and now I have a stiff and painful big toe all the time.)

I would never wear shoes at all and ran around barefoot all the time. Still do, even outdoors. My mum was dreading when I started school; she thought I wouldn't keep shoes on all day!

Ah, barefoot. I used to do that because it was preferable to the awful shoes!!! In fact, I'd forgotten how much time I spent shoe-less. My nan encouraged it much to my mom's annoyance!
