After the amazement of internet - well - what comes next?..
Internet is mind boggling but what is the next world shattering innovation?

    Any ideas?

My old brain is still staggering at the complexities of internet.
It has been my mind salvation over the last years.
I am a total addict, spending hours every day on line.
No games, yuck!!! Just all that available information!
It's even better than alcohol. Well, almost...
    The two together = heaven.

My question is what could be the next shattering/innovating invention that will even more advance society?

    :face-smile:

Ah yes. There is the 3D printer..
    Another amazing piece of gadgetry.

Bound to evolve into extremely exotic areas that could sort out masses of problems in our future.

    Keeper of the hens

I was flabbergasted by the 3D printer.

Heard they already messed up in accidentally releasing the blueprint for an entirely plastic, but working, gun on the internet though...doh!

Bio Observational Output of Knowledge. I'm hooked already, using 5 or 6 a week.
    Book for short...:)

I wonder if they'll ever be able to use it to create replacement organs? I must admit I can remember watching Tomorrow's World as a child and I couldn't believe a fax machine would be common place, let alone a computer and then the internet. It all amazes me!

Another suggestion has been from paralysed people that a robot could obey correctly and promptly the command to "scratch".
