    Keeper of the hens

So I always see these amazing Christmas photos of people's dogs wearing Santa hats or antlers, or wrapped in Christmas tree lights...and I'm always jealous! I always assumed Kasper and Zoey would never sit still for anything like that, and the truth is I don't think we're at the hat / antler stage yet, but they can hold a wait / leave it perfectly around props!

    Eager models:

Next we practice holding a wait whilst having a dressing gown draped over them:

    Love Zoey's face!

This is one of my favourite photos...seeing as they're such big camera fans, I thought I'd get a snap of them surrounded by my camera collection. Kasper was amazing! He lay there whilst I positioned them all and just looked...gorgeous XD

Zoey was a bit worried by one of the cameras, so I just had her sit next to it instead of position them around her. Love her shadow too

And yep, best cuddler in the world!

I probably made it quite a bit harder than it needed to be by attempting a photo shoot with both dogs out, rather than doing it one on one...but to be honest they were really calm, really responsive and we all really enjoyed ourselves...success!

I should add that as soon as the leave it was over Kasper immediately began selecting his favourite camera and trying to gnaw on it... :rolling:

Well, at least Kasper didn't gnaw on it while you were taking the pictures (which are soooo cute by the way):face-smile:

Nah, he has a really solid 'leave it'...but once he's released, he thinks everything is his!! I used to be able to ask him to leave it, then throw kibble at him, and it would bounce off his body and he would just sit and look at me...haven't tried that in a while though, might need to build it back up again

    And thank you :tooth:

Frodo will leave a pile of treats on the floor till we ay "OK"..but he only does that with food, anything else we say "leave it" to, he just ignores us totally. It took so many treats to get him to "Leave it" he's now over weight.

Hahahaha bless him!! That's really impressive though, great impulse control  We had to train it from scratch to work with objects, but got there in the end! I'd love to be able to ask Zoey to 'leave it' with grass on walks, so we didn't have to worry about her eating enough to make her sick, but there's not a chance she'd listen
