    Keeper of the hens

Today Lyle accidentally left a full, unopened pack of crackers on top of Archie's cage.

Archie is a clever little booger, and can easily open packets that are outside his cage and pull things through. Today, not only did he manage to open the crackers, but he then pulled the packet so that they scattered everywhere!!

Archie got a lovely meal of cracker (hey, could have been worse!) and half a dozen also fell into Kasper's crate - now THAT is teamwork!

Of course, I had to get a photo before we cleared the mess up ;)

    Clever boy!!

Angel and Saffy, my rats, used to love to get stuff from the top of their cage. It was a game we played with tissues. I would put them loose, one by one, on top of the cage and they would pull them through, carry them down, and put them in their bed. Each night they would take about 20 tissues-I think I loved it as much as they did!

I play something like that with Archie!! I wrap cardboard around the bars and he has to untangle / shred them

He gets the odd roll of toilet roll hung in his cage to unravel too XD Lyle especially is terrible for remembering not to put things on pet cages...Archie pulls loads of packets in (*sigh*) and Cleo is forever tugging in dog toys and ruined a plastic dog ball today :sarcastic:

Yes I lost a few things because I forgot about where I was putting them. Still, it all goes to a good cause-pet entertainment!

Aw yay, Lyle's not alone...he's been in the dog house because we lost a roll of bin bags and a dog toy to Archie / Cleo recently. He forgets so many things I need to start sticking signs all around the house to remind him :rolling:
